Informing the reporters on Thursday, he said he argued on the basis that there could be imbalance of law and order out of the problems created by the followers of the seven mutts and Puttige mutt.
He prayed the Court that it was necessary to uphold the written law of the mutt which has more than 800 years of tradition and Puttige Seer should be refrained from performing pooja.
He informed that the arguments from both the sides would be summed up on Friday.
On the other side, Puttige mutt advocate Advocate General (Karnataka) Udupi B V Acharya said that imbalance in law order arising out of Puttige seer performing rituals to Lord Krishna and resorting in the violence is unfortunate.
He said that he had prayed court to permit the Puttige seer to perform the Paryaya pooja as there was no legal problems in doing so.
