Following the complaints about errors and entry of bogus voters in voters’ list  in Kolar Gold fields a survey is being conducted, said the City Municipality Commissioner J G Padmanabha.
On visiting
Vivekanagara for inspection he found out that around 25 voters from a single family were entered in the list while actually the family has only nine members.
Errors
As the names were entered under different categories of deceased, migrated and change of
residence and duplication, the errors could have occurred, he said.
In most of the wards, women in large number had registered their names in the electoral rolls.
The deputy commissioner on Friday will convene a meeting of the officials in the City Municipal Corporaion office premises to discuss the issue, he added.
A list of objections has been announced in the CMC office and the voters have to submitted their objections.
