*Paint the entire hardboard in white colour. 

* Draw a very light outline of the design that you have chosen, or transfer the outline of your choice using carbon sheet on to the board. 

* Rub the edges of glass pieces on a rough surface or a stone so that they are well ground and do not hurt your fingers when working with them. 

* Soak all the pieces in boiling hot water to get rid of the offensive odour besides cleansing them. 

* Sort out the glass pieces on the basis of their sizes and colour for convenience. 

* Paste the glass pieces along the contours of the picture, in a way such that there is little or no space between the pieces. 

* Make sure that larger arcs of glass bangles are used towards the circumference and smaller ones towards the centre for better effect.
