A ‘Kala Jatha’ has been jointly organised by the  Bharat Gnyana Vignyana Samithi district Unit, district unit of Samatha Mahila Vedike, Taluk Literacy Samiti will be held on  Tuesday in Chikkaballapur..

The jatha will be kick-started  from the premises of the Sub-Divisional Office at 10 am. Awareness programmes about literacy, ideology, nationalism, health, poverty, corruption, communal riots, agriculture, atrocities against women will be conducted as part of the jatha, informed BGVS Zilla Unit Honorary President Prof Kodirangappa.
Thus, people should take part in the jatha in large numbers and make it a success, he added.
