'Teachers need to make'students realise their talent
DH News Service, Madhugiri:

Students will have talents, but it’s the responsibility of teachers to bring out their talents, opined BESCOM Assistant Engineer J Rashmi.

Speaking at the valedictory function of debate and Kannada songs singing competition, Ms Rashmi  said teachers community should raise their voice against superstition and  make an honest attempt in creating a healthy society.

Create opportunity
A good teacher is the one who creates opportunity for students to show their talents. Many students have hidden talents. It is only when teachers identify and encourage such talent, it is possible for the students to grow and see success in life,  she opined. Such efforts from teachers help in the personality development of students, Ms Rashmi added.

Model citizens
Presiding over the function  MGM Institution Secretary M S Shankaranarayan, said, teachers should also work towards creating model citizens of the country along with giving quality education.

Town municipal former president D G Shnkaranarayana  Shetty, teacher Gowramma were present on the occasion. Teacher Rajashekhar welcomed the gathering.  Vijayalakshmi compered the programme. Afis Ul Rehman proposed vote of thanks.
