Pop star Madonna is celebrating the New Year at a remote Rajasthan village, 150km, along with her husband and son and five family friends.

Madonna arrived here on Monday by a chartered flight from the Maldives at around 2:15 pm and after completing immigration and customs formalities flew to Jodhpur, Airport Director Anuj Agarwal said. In Jodhpur, the singing sensation stayed at Hotel Taj Hari for a brief while before driving to Dechu village where she would spend the night at a private heritage resort, sources said.
