In a major boost to the Indian BPO industry a study has found that UK companies off-shoring their IT functions to India are more satisfied with their Indian suppliers in comparison to the service providers in the US and Europe.
All the UK businesses currently off-shoring all or part of their IT functions are planning to continue this strategy and there is no sign of waning popularity of India as a global sourcing destination, found the ‘Outsourcing Service Provider Performance Study 2007’ conducted by independent sourcing advisory firm EquaTerra. It said that global players need to reposition their delivery models .
