No power supply
There will be no power on January 12 from 10 am to 4 pm in the following areas Thimmaiah Road, Millers Road, Chikka Bazaar Road, Shivajinagar, Nala Road, Cunningham Road, Police Commissioner’s Office, Russell Market, Haines Road, Evening Bazaar, Cookes Road, Commercial Street, Jumma Masjid Road, Union Street, Park Road, Lady Curzon Bowring Hospital Road, Raj Bhavan Road, Bamboo Bazaar, Jayamahal Extension, Benson Town, Coles Road, Wheeler Road, Tank Road, Mosque Road, Munireddypalya, Mathadahalli, Rajapalya, Basavanagar, Sitaramapalya, parts of Hoody Village 
There will also be no power  on January 12 between 10 am to 2 pm in Babupalya, Malappa Garden, Nanjappa Garden Pulse rate
The local pulse rate of BSNL’s Coin Collection Box  type PCOs has been made 60 seconds.
In memoriam
Bangalore Initiative for Religious Dialogue (BIRD) in association with The United Theological College, The Acts Institute and The Basel Mission Christian Association and The Rainbow Forum has organised a  programme - ‘An evening with Gandhiji’s favourite hymns and prayers’ to commemorate his 60th death anniversary.
It will be held at 4.30 pm on Wednesday, January 30, at The United Theological  College at  Millers Road.
