Global Aloysian Alumni Reunion will be held at Aloysius High School hall on  January 12.
Addressing a press meet here on Thursday, AIAB and AICS Director Rev Fr Denzil Lobo said St Aloysius College institutions for the past 127 years have formed thousands of young men and women who have taken up responsible positions in public life, business, entrepreneurship, social work and health services. St Aloysius is making an effort to build a database of Aloysians spread throughout the world in order to keep in touch with the developments. The Global Aloysian International will be inaugurated on January 12. Industrialist from USA Victor Pais will be present.
He said during the programme, the Aloysian Endowment Document will be released on the occasion. The document is the master mind of Arthur Shenoi, another octogenerarian from St Aloysius from California.
The endowment fund will enable the institution to give scholarships to deserving students, institute various chairs, support student activities and other developmental programmes in the college.
Alumni of St Aloysius College will be honoured for their contribution towards the society in various capacities.
They include karnataka Bank Chairman Ananthakrishna, MLC Blasius D’Souza, Abdulla Kunhi, Dr Deviprasad Shetty, Vinay Hegde, Dr Derek Lobo, Clarence Pais, Ivan Fernandes, Rajesh Rao, Eric Ozario, and Victor Pais.
