The reserves had grown by $ 2.837 billion to $275.559 billion in the week before.
Foreign Currency Assets (FCAs) increased by $724 million to $267.491 billion as against $266.767 billion a week ago, as per Reserve Bank data. FCA expressed in US dollar terms included the effect of appreciation or depreciation of other currencies such as the Euro, Pound Sterling and Yen, held in its reserves, it said. Country’s reserve position in the IMF also increased by $1 million to $ 433 million during the week.
