Vice-President’s visit: Security
The Bangalore police have made elaborate security arrangements in view of Vice-President M Hamid Ansari’s arrival in the City on Sunday. There will be certain restrictions for the commuters using the Palace Road, Sheshadri Road, Nrupathunga Road, N R Road, P Kalinga Rao Road, Lalbagh Road, Krumbigal Road and R V Road on Sunday evening when the Vice-President would visit a house at Jayanagar. The restriction would be between 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm on Sunday. The Commissioner of Police said that all efforts will be made to minimise the restrictions on the movement of general traffic on the roads on which the Vice-President would travel.
