He was speaking after inaugurating the Yuva Viveka Week held at Dr Gubbi Veeranna Kalashethra on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda birth anniversary and National Youth Day on Saturday.
The Yuva Viveka Week has been jointly organised by Vivekananda Youth Association and Kannada and Culture Department.
Moral values
The ideologies of the Vivekananda bear testimony to the fact that moral values don’t change with the time, opined Sridhar who said the new laws, customs and practices take birth with the changing times.
A lot of confusion as gripped many youth these days who are caught between high paying jobs and jobs which offer status, as a result of this there are many instances where youths are going astray, opined Sridhar who suggested the youth to earn money which is sufficient for their life and asked them to be oriented towards social work.
He urged the youth to find a bright future by devoting themselves in their respective works.
Strong will
The present day youth should aim to build a strong will in order to achieve their goal, suggested film actor and MLA Srinath who spoke on the occasion.
Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Ashrama’s Veereshananda Saraswati Swamiji graced the occasion. Social thinker Babu Krishnamurty Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement (H D Kote) President Dr R Balasubramanyam, Sunil and others were present on the occasion.
