Telugu Kala Samithi will organise a concert by renowned playback singer Dr S P Balasubrahmanyam at T MA Pai International convention Centre in Mangalore on January 19.

Addressing a press meet here on Thursday, Samithi President Lakshmi Narayana said Telugu Kala Samithi has proposed to construct a multipurpose auditorium and convention centre at Surathkal in the name of Telugu Kala Soudha at an estimated cost of Rs 25 lakh.

The auditorium will serve as a cultural centre not only for the community but also for the local people.
