AJ Hospital launches endocrinology dept

A J Hospital and Research Centre has launched endocrinology department, said Medical Director Dr Prashanth Marla.

Addressing a press meet here on Friday, he said endocrinology is a branch of medicine which deals with various harmonal disorders. The department is planning to offer holistic care to the patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders and various other harmonal disorders.

Endocrinology department Head Dr Ganesh said endocrinology will deal with the diabetes, thyroid disorders, obesity and lipid disorders, polycystic ovarian syndrome and hirsutism, osteoporosis, short stature, delayed puberty etc.

A J hospital and Research Centre will organise camp for endocrine disorders between January 15 and 31. During the camp, the consultation will be free and investigations are offered at a discount rate. For registration contact: 2229601.
