The CPM has decided to stage a protest outside deputy commissioner’s office on January 28 demanding for completion of Devanur-Chikmagalur Railway line works.

Hasan Chikmagalur District Co-ordinating Committee Secretary V Sukumar said that the matter was extensively discussed at the samiti sammelana held recently and it was decided to hold protests to pressurise the Railway Ministry. He informed that the works commenced about 5 years ago but was soon stopped for various reasons.
