Four hundred nursing institutes registered under the Karnataka State Association for the Management of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences Institutes (KSAMNAHSI) will offer the free seats to students from Kerala, Dayanand Kumar, President of the association, told reporters here.
Denying reports about inadequate infrastructure in nursing colleges in Karnataka, he said that the Association had been formed by the best institutions in the state, “to ensure the best quality nursing education for students.”
The Association was keen on maintaining a transparent relationship between institutions and parents. A helpline would be formed to look after the problems of parents, he said while launching www.higherstudies.in, a website for aspiring nursing students.
The website will have details about colleges and fees. Live updates in each institute would also be available.
Students can directly apply to the respective institution through the site.
