Awards distribution

Award distribution ceremony of article writingcompetition organised by the Da Ra Bendre Poetry Forum will be held on January 31, at Krishnaraja Mandira, Kannada Sahitya Parishad, Chamarajpet.

C Mahendra, a student of  Mysore Varsity, has bagged the first prize in the competition. A R Annapoorna of  Kuvempu Varsity and M H Prathiba of Tumkur Varsity will be awarded the second and third prize respectively.

Holidays for 2008

The Karnataka Consumer Disputes Redressal State Commission will follow the general holidays and optional holidays specified by the State government for 2008.Except the days fixed for the hearing of urgent matters, there will be no regular sittings during the period mentioned below :From April 21 to May 25, from Oct6 to Oct 10 and Dec 22 to Dec 31. The Office of the KSCDR Commission will be working from 10 am to 5.30 pm on all working days of the State government and the non sitting days mentioned above.

All the District Forums in the State will work on all working days of the State government.

Results

The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has  displayed the results of the Common Aptitude Test held for the post of grade 2, officers category in the central offices of KSRTC at Shantinagar.
