Two embroidery workers who had sustained serious burns at Shamanna Garden about a week ago, died at a private nursing home.
While one of them died on Saturday night, another burn victim breathed his last on Sunday morning. The condition of two more burns patients is said to be critical.
Police said Ranjit Biswas (17) and Milan Mandal (18), both residents of Tarapur of Nadia district in West Bengal, succumbed to burns. Ranjit died at about 11.30 pm on Saturday night, and Milan breathed his last at about 5.30 am on Sunday.
The two were among the twelve people - including eleven embroidery workers - who sustained burn injuries in a fire at Shamanna Garden on
January 7.
