He was speaking at a meeting held by his supporters of Bellavi Assembly Constituency to discuss his political decisions for the future, in Badavanahalli of Madhugiri taluk, on Sunday.
He criticised the party for whipping up members to vote against the Yediyurappa government, after writing to the Governor of handing over the baton of power and making BJP parade its strength.
He said this act of JD(S) was contemptuous and that he would never contest in polls from that party.
He decided to contest from Bellavi constituency itself, if it remains after the delimitation.
Taluk Panchayat former president Mahalingaiah, GP president Govindappa, leaders H C Nagabhushan, P U Papanna, Kotekallappa, MPCS former president Ranganath, Land Bank President Nagaraj were present on the occasion.
