Fifteen people had contested for the three posts in the Primary School Teachers’ constituency.
Nagaraj (Guru) - 525 votes, Shivakumar (Dabha) - 307 votes and Gopal - 303 votes, have all been elected.
The rest of the candidates were - Ashok (29 votes), Kalegowda (228), Chennayya (210), Doddaiah (137), Bashasaab (121), Mohankumar (159), Ravikumar (208), Rudresh (114), Varalakshmi (113), Shivakumar (222) and D N Shivanna (130) and Huchchayya (171).
Two people were in the fray for one position in the Animal Husbandry Department, and one position in the Child and Womens Welfare Department. Suresh has been elected to the former, and Anasuya for the latter.
Narasimhamurthy, Nagaraju, Raghavendra and Shivamma have been elected office-bearers of the Helath Department, said a press release.
