Applications have been invited for district Yuva Prashasthi for five youth who have excelled in sports, community development programmes and one registered Yuvaka mandala and Yuvathi mandala.

According to a press release, the applicant must be within 35 years old and must be the member of yuvaka/yuvathi mandala registered under Youth Service and Sports department. He/she must not be a government employee and must have undertaken services related to environment protection, afforestation between April 1, 2007 and March 31, 2008.

For application forms contact: Youth Service and Sports department. Selected youth will receive a sum of Rs 5,000 and yuvaka mandala or yuvathi mandala will receive a sum of Rs 10,000. The last  date for filing application is January 25. For details contact: 220324.
