Suits make cops 'feel good'
Bangalore, DHNS:

Brigade’s Shops and Establishments Association (BSEA) on Monday presented civil uniforms (suits) to 104 police personnel at the Traffic Training Institute. These suits were designed by Bangalore based designer Irfaan, customised to the measurements of each personnel. Designing the suits cost Rs 6 lakh for the association, said Suhail Yusuff, Secretary BSEA.

On his visit to the Malaysian automation centre, he had seen the employees there dressed in suits, which inspired him to introduce the concept in the City. Wearing suits would improve the productivity of the personnel as “it makes one feel good,”he observed.

BSEA will also launch two new projects on January 18. One is a Coin Vending Machine to help the automated parking function better and facilitate people on Brigade Road. The other is the Parking Information System (PIS).
