Under Deccan Herald's Newspaper-in-Education drive, a variety entertainment programme for students of DHiE member-schools will be held at the Puttanna Chetty Town Hall, Bangalore.
The event is spread out for three days from January 16, to 18.
Three shows will be held on each day, starting from 9:30 am. Each show will feature mimicry by R Dayanand, a well-known TV artiste.
G B Rangashayea will demonstrate ventriloquism. After this R Sumanth will be entertaining the kids with his shadow play.
About 11,000 students will attend the entertainment cum learning programme. This is part of a series, whose objective is to provide education to students, through various popular forms of entertainment.
The popularity and learning value of earlier events organised by Deccan Herald under the DHiE banner will surely delight students this time too.
