Cattle procession in Mulbagal
DH News Service, Mulbagal:
People in Mulbagal witnessed Sankranti in the full glory as a cattle procession was taken out on Tuesday at Shivakeshav Nagar in the city.


Tahasildar Harishipla inaugurated the cattle procession. Leaders from Hindu as well as Muslim communities participated in the programme symbolising communal harmony. The procession passed through the main roads of the city.

Former Town Municipal Corporation Commissioner T M Srinivas, Dr Rahamatullah Khan, Yamanna, BJP leader Y Surendra Gowda, leaders G Nagaraj, TMC member Thakursingh, Murali, M Changappa and others took part in the programme.

Under the leadership of Mulbagal DySP Dharanendraiah Circle Inspector Srinivasmurty, SI Rajanna provided heavy security to the whole event. Additional police force had also been called for the purpose.
