Andrew stars in ITI victory

Riiding on a brace from Andrew (19th, 38th), ITI Veterans  edged past ADE Veterans  2-1 in the veteran’s football tournament at the Bangalore Football stadium on Tuesday.

D Umapathy scored a consolation goal for ADE in the 41st minute.

Kadiravan’s twin strikes (12th, 49th) earned Periyarnagara FC a 2-0 win over Gouthampura FC in the other match of the day.

Young Muslims post win

Young Muslims defeated Jawahar Union 2-1 in the ‘C’ Division tie played at the Austin Town grounds on Tuesday. Satish opened Muslims’ account in the 36th minute. Kishore swelled their tally in the 57th minute.
Jawahar pulled one back through Naveen in the 65th minute.

State ‘B’ Division volleyball

Taurians Sports Club will conduct the State ‘B’ Division volleyball championship from January 31 to February 3 at Gandhi Vidya Sala grounds, Srirampuram. Entries should reach Karnataka Volleyball Association on or before January 26.
