More traffic diversions

To avoid getting caught once in traffic jams due to the ongoing underpass construction work, commuters could go by the following traffic diversions announced by the city traffic police:

* Malleswaram: Vehicles coming from the interiors of Yeshwanthpur, Sadashivnagar and Vyalikaval have to change their direction near Bhashyam Circle and head towards South i.e vehicles can ply from Vyalikaval 2 Main Road to Vyalikaval Police Station junction, take a right turn and head towards Vyalikaval 11th Cross, and then move towards Temple Road.

* Vehicles heading towards the North, from Bhashyam Circle and moving towards Sadashivanagar, Maruthi Circle and from there, have to take a right turn, head towards 8th Main Road and proceed towards Ramana Maharshi Road junction.

* BMTC buses coming from Malleswaram and Yeshwanthpur have to proceed from Maramma Circle 18th Cross bus stand to Margosa Road and continue from there on.

However, buses coming to Sadashivanagar and Maruthi Circle have to move towards Cauvery junction and Ramana Maharshi Road temporarily, and proceed towards 8th Main junction, then take a left turn and move towards Maruthi Circle, and again from Maruthi Circle.

The vehicles can head towards 8th Cross, Ramana Maharshi Road junction and from there take a left turn towards Mekhri Circle, take a U- turn and move towards Cauvery junction.

* Two-way from Palace Guttahalli Road, Jataka Stand Circle to Vinayaka Circle; from there taking a right turn to Vyalikaval 2 Main Road and 11th Cross (Vyalikaval Police Station) has been temporarily made one-way.

Accordingly, vehicles can move in the east and west directions from Jataka Stand junction to Vinayaka Circle.

 However, the movement of vehicles in the opposite direction has been prohibited.

Two-way will continue to be retained from Vyalikaval Police Station –- 11th Cross junction towards Bhashyam Circle.

Moreover, movement of vehicles from Police Cross junction to Cauvery junction towards Mekhri Circle will continue like earlier.

Movement of vehicles from Mahalakshmi Temple Road to Cauvery junction towards Mekhri Circle and Police Cross will also continue like earlier.

Heavy motor vehicles plying from Bellary Road, Gangenahalli, Jayamahal Road, TV Tower, heading towards Sadashivanagar, and two wheelers, will have to move towards Mekhri Circle, through CV Raman Road and take a left turn before moving towards Sadashivanagar.
