SSCOPE launched
‘Art of Living’ announces the launch of Sri Sri Centre of Professional Excellence (SSCOPE), an initiative to empower professionals with the right knowledge to achieve excellence.

Financial assistance for Brahmin students
Sri Raghavendra Seva Samithi invites applications from the economically weak and meritorious students of the Brahmin Community studying in PUC, Graduate, Post-Graduate, Technical, Diploma, Sanskrit, Vedic studies and professional studies for award of Financial Assistance for the year 2007-08.
Applications forms can be obtained from the Samithi's office between 10 am to 11.30 am 6.00 pm to 7.30 pm on payment of Rs. 5.
Filled application forms will be received with all enclosures upto 20.01.2008 between 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm. The last date of receipt is 20.01.2008.

Management Fest from SBMJC-CMS
Precipice- Grandeur, Strategy, Celebration is an international level management fest organised every year by SBMJC-CMS. This year the fest will start from January 30, 2007 in Bangalore and will continue till February 6, 2008 through four cities leading to the final event in Jaisamand Island, Udaipur on February 4, 2008. The participants for the fest will be selected on an all-India basis across the best BBM, BBA, Post Graduate and MBA colleges across the country. However, Precipice will be held across six cities — Bangalore, Jaipur, Ajmer, Pushkar, Kota and with the final event on a private island - Jaisamand Island, Udaipur, all night. Participants will travel through these cities under travel, communication, time and money constraints to complete various tasks. The winner will receive a prize money INR 1 lakh.
Other activities will include quizzes and final presentations from each participant on the final night.

Creative Rewards scholarships from MAAC
MAAC, the academic wing of Maya Entertainment Limited (MEL), has announced the Annual Creative Rewards Scholarship 2008 to reward meritorious students desirous of building successful careers in the animation industry.
The scholarships are awarded annually to students (up to 100 per cent) based on a creativity test followed by an interview. The creativity test comprises of basic questions and exercises used to measure creative quotients internationally.
