Addressing press persons after holding a party workers meeting here on Wednesday, he said the enthusiasm shown by the workers in the past few days during their district tour had made it pertinent that BJP would come to power in the State.
MLC Capt Ganesh Karnik said the tour across the district was aimed at organising the party. Election is being held for inevitable reasons. BJP will face elections on the basis of the achievements recorded by Mr Yeddyurappa, he said.
The coalition government has achieved to the extent that the earlier governments could not achieve in the past 58 years. The programmes of the co-alition government are not being implemented properly in the President’s Rule, he regretted adding that BJP would definitely form government in the State with clear majority.
Former MLA D N Jeevaraj, Bharatiya Janatha Party district chief Bhojegowda, leaders Pranesh, Chandrashekhar Jois, B C Narendra, Malige Chandrashekhar, Yuva Morcha President Hosuru Dinesh were present on the occasion.
