The DHiE fest 2007-08 will be held on January 17 at Hotel Woodlands in Mangalore. The fest would provide the students involved with “Deccan Herald in Education programme,’ a wonderful opportunity to meet, interact and compete in various stimulating and enjoyable events.

The various competitions include elocution, group dance, drawing, collage and variety show. The participating students are requested to report at the venue by 8.30 am in their school uniform, with DHiE Badge and one teacher from the school, for registration. Lunch and drinking water will be provided at the venue. The inauguration of the programme will be held at 9.15 am and the cultural programmes start at 10 am. The schedule is, debate- 10 am, collage- 10 am, drawing- 10.30 am, group dance- 11.30 am, variety show- 1.45 pm.  The valedictory function will be held at 4.15 pm in which Paediatrician Dr Pavan Hegde will be the chief guest.
