Kriya Yoga

Babaji’s Kriya Yoga Trust is organising an initiation seminar to propagate Sadguru Babaji’s kriya yoga techniques on January 18, 19 and 20 at MEWS Ladies’ Club, No 37, Bhooma, 17th Cross, Malleswaram. Though there are various traditional branches of Kriya yoga, Babaji’s lineage being taught by M D Satyananda (member of Babaji’s Kriya Yoga Order of Acharyas) has 144 techniques initiated in three progressive stages. Spoken Kannada classes

Kannada Prasara Parishat will commence its next batch of spoken Kannada, Kannada script learning and higher Kannada classes from January 20. The classes will be held only on Sundays from 10 am to 1 pm at the Hosmat Hospital premises, Magrath Road (near Mayo Hall, Garuda Mall. Successful candidates will be awarded certificates of merit. Winner

Master Pranav Pejawar studying at Vidyavardhaka Sangha Rajajinagar participated at the national level competition of SIP Academy India Pvt Ltd in Mumbai and won the second place for the below 8 years category of level 1. He was trained at the SIP, Rajajinagar centre by Shbha in coordination with Smeetha Shivkumar.

Acting workshop

Orange Sky Productions is holding a six-week Acting Workshop, starting January 19. The programme would include learning and discussing basic acting techniques for stage and camera, with sessions involving camera practicals. Sessions would be held thrice a week from 3 pm to 8 pm from Monday to Wednesday from 7 pm to 9:30 pm at Baldwin Boys' High School, Richmond Town , Hosur Road.
