Railway police are groping in the dark in connection with a robbery in a train, which compelled a woman to jump with her children from a running train to save herself from robbers.

All police have to say is Rashida Bano should not have boarded an empty train.

“She (Rashida) was not a bonafide traveller and there is no provision of guarding an empty and unscheduled train. We are patrolling the platform extensively, so the incident did not take place there,” claimed the inspector of the Government Railway Police Udayabhaskar.
