Ayyappaswamy Temple inauguration today

The newly constructed temple of lord Ayyappa which is on the B B road in the city will be inaugurated on Friday.

The temple has been built at a cost of Rs 30 lakhs.

The inauguration programme is a three-day event which commences from January 18 and will end on 21. The grand programme as been organised by the Ayyappaswamy Seva Trust which is handling the affairs of the temple. One of unique aspects of this temple is it  resembles the original Ayyappaswamy temple at Sabarimala in Kerala. 

Krishnan Guruswamy will lead the preparations of the religious programmes organised for the inauguration.

Priests have been specially called from Kerala for the purpose of performing the rituals beginning from 18. The idol of lord Ayyappa will also be installed on the same day.

The temple has beautiful architecture which attracts everybody. There are arrangements for the performance of daily Bhajans at the temple which also has a huge verandah in the ground floor.
