KAT holidays

Karnataka Administrative Tribunal has announced the list of holidays for the year 2008. In addition to Sundays, second Saturdays and general holidays notified by the Sate government, the KAT will remain closed on the following days. Summer vacation: From May 5, 2008 to May 23; Dasara Vacation: On October 6 and October 7; Winter vacation: From December 23 to December 31. However, vacation benches will function during vacations.

Jugalbandi

The City will host a jugalbandi by Bombay Jayashri and Shubha Mudgal on January 26 at 6:30 pm at Chowdiah Memorial Hall. The programme is in aid of ‘Give Life’. It aims to provide educational support to the poor and deprived children. At present, it is supporting 3,000 children.
