Former Prime minister and JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda performed Ganapati Purasara Navagraha Homa at the famous Ganapati temple in Kurudumale village in Mulbagal taluk on Friday morning.
Deve Gowda came to the temple at around 5.45 am in the early morning. After performing the havan form 6.30 to 9.30 am he spent 2 more hours offering special poojas.
The poojas and other rituals were performed under the auspices of Vishwanatha Dikshith, Mandikal Guruprasad and other priests.
Former minister Alangur Srinivas, K M Krishna Reddy, Kolar district JD(S) president Venkatshiva Reddy, KOMUL president Kadenahalli Nagaraj, ZP member Yashodamma, Shame Gowda, RMC president Kurudumale Manjunath, M Changappa and others were present.
Deve Gowda also visited Anjaneyaswamy temple , Baba Hydervalli durga and Narasimhatheerta in the city.
