Former Union minister Ram Niwas Mirdha, who was a close associated of Kengal Hanumanthaiah, on Friday held talks with the Governor in this regard.
The centenary celebrations will begin on February 10 at Vidhana Soudha and later the programmes will be held in Delhi and across Karnataka.
The Governor has constituted an executive committee headed by Legislative Council Chairman B K Chandrashekar to chalk out programmes for the centenary, according to official sources. This year, the budget for the centenary is Rs 50 lakh.
