Sasken Q3 net dips to Rs 3.8 cr
Sasken Communication Technologies Ltd, on Saturday, reported a dip in net profit at Rs 3.8 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007, compared to Rs 12 crore for the same period in the previous fiscal, reports DHNS from Bangalore.
However, the consolidated revenue for the reported quarter increased by eight per cent to Rs 141.3 crore compared to the same period in the previous fiscal, the Bangalore-based company said.
The telecom research and development and support outsourcing firm added seven new customers in the quarter.
Idea Cellular Q3 net doubles
GSM mobile service operator Idea Cellular Ltd on Saturday said the group’s consolidate net profit after tax rose two-fold to Rs 236.77 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007, as compared to Rs 113.77 crore for the corresponding period last year, reports PTI from Mumbai. Total revenue grew 48.36 per cent to Rs 1710.31 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007, as against Rs 1152.80 crore for the same period a year ago, the company said.
The company reported two-fold increase in its net profit after tax of Rs 237.19 crore for the third quarter, as compared to Rs 113.69 crore for the corresponding period previous year. Total revenue jumped 48.36 per cent to Rs 1710.31 crore for the reported quarter as against Rs 1152.80 cr for the same period last year.
