Hosts Karnataka posted twin victories in convincing fashion in their Group B encounters of the BSNL all-India football tournament in Bangalore on Saturday.

The Karnataka men blanked MTNL, Delhi 3-0 while against Gujarat, the hosts won 5-0.

Against MTNL, Delhi, Kadiravan opened the account for Karnataka with a fifth minute strike. Then, M N Bepari doubled the tally by finding the target in the 19th minute.

Kadiravan once again was in the thick of action as he rounded off the scoring eight minutes later to clinch the issue.

Against Gujarat Ifthikar netting the opening goal for Karnataka just seven minutes into the match. Mohammad Nazim swelled the lead in the 30th minute and Ifthikar added another two to in the 32nd and 35th minutes and Sukumar added another in the  52nd-minute.
