Investment panel's tenure is extended
New Delhi, UNI:

The term of the Investment Commission has been extended by two years till December 31, 2009.

The term of the commission was to expire on December 31, 2007. The Investment Commission advises the government on investment proposals and products. The commission is headed by eminent industrialist Ratan Tata.

Besides Tata Group Chairman, Mr Ashok Ganguly and Mr Deepak Parekh are its other two members.
