Price hike opposed
Members of Autorickshaw Drivers’ Union on Tuesday staged a protest against the state-owned oil companies’ decision to hike the prices of auto LPG by Rs 3.65. They submitted a memorandum to Bangalore Urban Deputy Commissioner demanding the government either roll back the hike or simultaneously increase the minimum fare fixed for autorickshaws.

Autorickshaw drivers staged a protest in front of Jayanagar RTO and on Sunkadakatte Road too. However, the Rajiv Gandhi Autorickshaw Drivers’ Association said it will not press for increase in the minimum fare.
