Boy commits suicide
Bangalore, DHNS:

 A boy, who consumed poison five days ago, breathed his last in a hospital on Monday.

Kiran (13), a resident of Ganganagar Lakshmidevamma Block, was studying in a private school. His father, Venkataramanappa, who had noticed Kiran’s absence to the classes, had taken him to task. Upset with his father’s remarks Kiran had consumed posion.

Rowdy murdered
A former rowdy-sheeter was hacked to death in Byatarayanapura police limits on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Sunil Palla (23), a resident of Kasturbanagar.

According to police, Palla was murdered near Aralikatte when he was returning home after completing the new year’s party. 

Several cases had been registered against Palla  and he had been released from jail recently.

One killed in mishap
A person was killed on the spot when a speeding tractor hit his bike on Rajagopalnagar Main road on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Chandramohan (35), a resident of Sheshadripuram and a worker in a courier company. He was on his way to Peenay for some official work when the accident occured. The tractor driver is absconding.
