All the four people killed in a Scorpio accident near Itagatti on the Hubli-Dharwad by-pass road on Sunday night are believed to be from Mangalore.

It may be mentioned here that the four people were killed when the Scorpio they were travelling in, crashed against a parked lorry on the by-pass. All the four, hailing from Mangalore, had settled in Mumbai, and were going to Mangalore.

The four have been identified as Edwin Rego (33), Steven Rodrigues (26), Jerry Rego (70) and Rosy Rego (58). All had settled in the Santa Cruz area in Mumbai.
