While Cricket Australia won't make an official call on the tour until the middle of February, several players have expressed their apprehensions. One player who has no qualms about touring Pakistan if the all-clear comes through from the Board is skipper Ricky Ponting. "I would definitely go if the tour is on," he said here on Tuesday.
"I would rather be playing international cricket than not playing it. As it is, we don't play too many Tests against Pakistan."
Ponting, however, cautioned against looking too far ahead. "The tour itself is so far away. This is a big series, against a very good Indian team, so our focus is on this series right now."
