With these and many more such issues in their agenda, leaders of the Samajwadi party in Shidlaghatta held a protest rally on Monday. During the protest they alleged that corruption has assumed such ugly proportions in the taluk office theta poor people cannot even think of getting their work done in the office. Officilas have been misusing the power, they said.

The protest rally started from the bus stand and reached the taluk office. Protesters submitted a memorandum to Shirastedar Nataraj. After receiving the memorandum, Mr Nataraj assured the Protesters a timely action.

H S Sattar, Basavaraju, Laxman, Channakrishnappa, Raju, Manju, Shivakumar, Srinivas, Manjunath, Choudegowda, Munegowda, Munikrishnappa and others took part in the protest.
