PSLV launches Israeli satellite
India on Monday successfully placed an Israeli “spy satellite” in the polar orbit after a textbook launch carried out under a veil of secrecy from the Sriharikota space station, DHNS reports from Chennai.

38 killed in bus mishap
At least 38 devotees, including 12 women and four children, were killed and 40  injured when the overcrowded bus carrying the pilgrims from a famous shrine fell into a 600-foot deep gorge near Nasik in North Maharashtra on Sunday night, reports DHNS from Mumbai.

Piramal official still untraceable
A senior executive of pharma major Nicholas Piramal remained untraceable for the fourth day on Monday while STF joined police teams looking for leads in several cities in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan after he went missing, reports PTI from Bhopal.
