School managements and parents heaved a sigh of relief on Tuesday after maxi cabs and vans hired by the schools to pick up and drop the children reported for work.On Monday the schools were forced to declare a holiday.
Some parents on Tuesday had decided to drop their wards to schools as precautionary measure. When Deccan Herald spoke to some schools in the City they confirmed that there were no disruptions. “The school functioned normally today,” said Bishop Cotton Girls’ School Principal Princess Franklyn. Karnataka Unaided School Management Association President G S Sharma said, as most of the children commute by auto, there was no problem for them.
