The High Court has extended the stay granted against the summons issued to the then police inspector at Vidhana Soudha, Srinidhi, in a defamation proceedings. A city magistrate had ordered issue of summons to Srinidhi in February 2002, following a complaint lodged by a politician, Gopi Naidu. The stay was extended till February end.
