“Our’s is a one-lakh crore industry, which is striving to provide the best to diamond lovers. In order to recognise the services of our retailers, jewellers and partners, we are presenting these awards,” said Group Marketing Business Director Prasad Kapre.

Nikhaar, Deepam, Modern, Abhushan, Orra, Manpansand, Sri Krishna, Neelkanth, Khazana, Navrathan, Abharan, Keerthilal Jewellers and Zaveri Bros emerged winners in various categories including the best innovation, shopping experience, in-store display, collection and upcoming jewellery .

Adding the glam quotient to the evening were TV stars and celebrity dance show Nach Baliye’ winning couple Aamir and Sanjeeda, and Kuldeep Dubey of the Great Indian Laughter Challenge fame.
If Aamir and Sanjeeda  entertained the audience with their jhatkas and matkas to songs from Jab We met and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom among other old and new flicks, Kuldeep had the audience in splits with his rib tickling jokes. From Discovery channel, (“for having infringed on the privacy of animals”) glam girl Rakhi Sawant, King Khan, to politicians - Kuldeep spared no one.

His imitations of actors Ajay Devgan, Paresh Rawal and  Sanjay Dutt stood out.
The Diamond Award season that was held across six cities concluded with this ceremony.
