Her ‘Meera Madhava Raghava’ may have failed to make the desired impact at the box office, but this has not dashed the spirits of Sandalwood’s reigning queen Ramya. In fact, the actress has busied herself in a slew of projects.
Speaking about ‘Bhimoos Bang Bang Kids’ in which she stars opposite Upendra, she says that it is an absolute fun movie. “It is a fantasy movie with no logic. It has been great working with Upendra and the kids. The movie also has a song with many popular Kannada stars including Ambarish, Aditya and Darshan in it.”
Ramya will also be seen in Ganesh starrer ‘Ganesha and Ramya’. “I play an NRI girl who is still rooted to Indian values in this movie,” she reveals. There is also ‘Musanje Mathu’ with Sudeep, where she dons the role of a homely girl, and ‘Anthu Inthu Preethi Banthu’ with Aditya. She is also involved in Tamil projects. When asked if she was considering Bollywood, “no” came the reply.
``I’m not interested in Bollywood. What I’m looking at right now is good scripts and for directors who are capable of executing such scripts.”
