We are two aged doctors and need your help. We have old identity cards, only our residential address is changed.
But we were told to visit the place where new ID cards were being issued. After waiting in the line we were told to come the next day.

I have been living at Kaval Byrasandra for the last four years, and my address is # 11/1, 2nd Main Road, Ambedkar Layout, Kaval Byrasandra Bangalore 560 032.
I have submitted Form 6 for myself and my spouse, personally at the Corporation Office at Kaval Byrasandra three years ago. The details have been taken down once again by the survey people one year ago. I searched the website ceokarnataka.com and was surprised to note that my name has not been included in the voters' list. Kindly do the needful.

We shifted our residence from Sanjaynagar to Malleswaram in 2003. In 2006, we applied for ID cards stating that we had shifted residence. We submitted our applications on 24-02-2006 and received the acknowledgement (P.93, Sl. No. 608, 609, 610). But till today we have not received our cards. The details are - Dr. G.M. Kannappa Setty (Acknowledgement P – 93; Sl No 608); Ms Sukanya (P – 93; Sl No 609); Miss Suhasini K Setty (P – 93; Sl No 610). Please do tell us what we are supposed to do.

We were regular voters at the above address from Uttarahalli constituency. However, for the last three years, our names are not in the voters list. My attempts to rectify the same were not successful.
Recently, when a private organisation sent a letter informing that they would be compiling the voters list, we went to Shantiniketan School (our voting station) and entered our names afresh, as we could not locate our name in their list. We hope for results. We are both Senior Citizens.

I am residing at 1251/705, 13th cross, Girinagar 2nd phase, Bangalore 85. My name is missing from the revised electoral list. We are four eligible voters namely - R K Vishwanath, Uma Vishwanath, R V Hemanth and Pushpa Hemanth.
Yesterday, an official called on us along with the list and we found our names missing even though ID cards were issued way back in 2003.
The official said he would come back again with the concerned officer in an hour’s time and asked me to stay back. But till now, no one has turned up.
- R K Vishwanath
After going through the voters’ list I found that my son's name has been changed from Suresh Vedanth.
I do not know the reason for changing the name with out any request from me or my son.
I have sent a mail to the Electoral Manager to correct the same but no reply has come so far. In the earlier list all names of my family members were correct. Please arrange for correction.

In response to Deccan Herald’s initiative to provide an exclusive forum for citizens to air their grievances pertaining to the voters’ list, Chief Electoral Officer R Ramasheshan has said that he will address citizens’ problems at the earliest.
“We will look into every mail carefully and try our best to help them out. Some problems may take just a few minutes to solve, and some may take a few days. But every one will be taken to a logical end,” he stated. The draft of the revised voters’ list will be published on February 7, and it will be finalised on March 10. In between, the process to look into objections and suggestions - if any - will be on. to address the problems, 30 to 40 days time would be required, said said Mr Ramasheshan.
