Zilla panchayat Social Justice Committee President Balaji Chennaiah joined BJP after quitting Congress in the presence of BJP State Unit President D V Sadananda Gowda in Bangalore on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion BJP State Unit President D V Sadananda Gowda said Balaji Chennaiah will be a gold for BJP in Kolar district. The services of Balaji should  be utilised properly,  D V Sadananda Gowda added.

There is no discrimination in the name of new partly leaders and old leaders in the BJP. Each should work honestly for the party, he said.

Speaking on the occasion Balaji Chennaiah said “I will do my service to the party and make an honest attempt in strengthening the party,”.

State Yuva Morcha President Girish Mattannavar, party’s state office-bearers and leaders were present on the occasion.
